The Custom Portrait Experience

Your portrait begins with a selection of photographs that help me understand your pet’s unique features and expressions. I accept:

• Camera or phone photos
• Professional portraits
• Scanned vintage photographs

A minimum of five photos is recommended to capture personality and detail. High‑resolution images work best, but I can work from any clear, well‑lit photo.

Helpful tips:

• Choose images where your pet’s face is clearly visible
• Good lighting and sharp focus are ideal
• Multiple angles or expressions are helpful for character reference

3. Creation & Refinement

Your portrait is carefully crafted using a hybrid fine‑art process that blends modern digital tools with traditional painterly decision‑making. Each piece is refined by hand with attention to tone, texture, and likeness.

You’ll receive a digital preview of the finished artwork prior to printing, with the opportunity to request minor refinements to ensure the portrait feels true to your pet.

4. Canvas Printing & Delivery

All custom pet portraits are created exclusively on canvas using archival‑quality materials for lasting beauty and durability.

Portraits may be finished framed or unframed and are carefully packaged and shipped directly to you, ready to display.

Investment & Commission Details

Custom pet portraits are commissioned works of fine art and are priced separately from pet photography sessions.

Portrait commissions begin with a Wall Art Collection on canvas, with additional artistic services available for painterly transformation and optional hand‑applied acrylic embellishment.

A $200 deposit is required to secure your commission and begin the custom portrait process and is applied toward the final artwork total. Full pricing and timelines are reviewed and approved before work begins.
