How I Use AI in My Creative Process
AI is one tool within my creative process — not the entirety of it.
In some cases, AI helps me explore composition, lighting, or painterly direction as a starting point. From there, every portrait is carefully refined by hand in Adobe Photoshop. This includes cleaning up artifacts, correcting color, sharpening details, and—most importantly—ensuring the finished artwork truly resembles your pet.
For my more custom commissions, the process goes even further. Many portraits are fully painted by hand in Photoshop, blending digital brushwork with a fine-art painterly approach. This stage can be time-consuming and highly detailed, but it’s what allows me to create expressive, gallery-quality pieces with accurate likeness and a timeless feel.
Final artworks are professionally printed on canvas, with select pieces offering hand-applied acrylic embellishments for added texture and depth—making each portrait truly one of a kind.
While there are faster and cheaper AI-only options available, my work reflects a combination of artistic training, hands-on craftsmanship, and years of experience. Every piece is thoughtfully created, refined, and finished as a work of art—not a one-click result.
